My name is Dan O’Connell. I am an Interaction Design graduate and web enthusiast who loves designing immersive, creative & user-friendly interactions.

I hope to one day conquer the world with an Arduino board, a windmill and a modem, but in the mean time, I’ll stick to front end web design + development.

Obliquo

A HTML5 website designed as a blog, show reel and communication tool for a small group of creatives.

Obliquo

A group of friends and I have lots of ideas in the works and we needed a place to communicate and show our work. The name Obliquo, meaning ‘slanting’ came about as we see ourselves as creative indivuduals who think outside the box. The name represents our trails of thought.

The website is designed to function horizontally, with the navigation using anchors and smooth jquery transitions. The back end is powered by WordPress, with the latest 10 blog entries and 5 projects to be pulled onto the home page.

The website is still in progress, but is on hold until our workloads have quietened down. It can be found here: www.obliquo.co.uk. Updates are sure to come.
